 As
a little girl I was very lucky to live in a family where baking was a wonderful tradition. My grandmother, mother and Aunts were lovely, intelligent
women who were fabulous cooks. Family gatherings were always fun and involved large quantities of all our favorite things. I was often found
in the kitchen tagging along watching and helping. With much practice, patience on the part of my family and a few years time I grew into
a good cook. I noticed that certain recipes were becoming quite a favorite with friends and family. Even friends on strict diets couldn't
keep their hands off and would often have three cinnamon rolls at one sitting!
Requests started coming in for homemade gifts and so from home
on a very small scale as a favor to friends and family I began making
and delivering gifts. To my delight my customers raved about how
everything, down to the handpainted ornaments, was homemade. That
was the beginning of Recipes and we are still having a ball delighting
our clients with something just a cut above what is expected.
